Inspired by the poem “Rooted in Silence” by Yohanes Kabes —

a meditation on the strength of stillness,
for those who endure without being seen,
who keep giving life from the depths where no light reaches.
It speaks of the forgotten branches,
severed from their source and deemed unworthy of the sun.

This design portrays branches cast into darkness,
reminding us that even within the deepest silence,
there is always space to grow —
to send our roots further,
and to rise again toward the light.

Along the sleeves lies the pattern of cambium — the living layer that silently forms the tree’s growth rings year after year, a reminder that every season of silence leaves its mark.—
a symbol that every legacy is born
from the works of our hands,
from the quiet years of creation,
and from the solitude we have learned to befriend.

Behind every detail rests a message:
that silence does not mean absence,
that roots grown in stillness
are the truest source of life.
